  2. Congrats on the spandex! HAHA they are sooooo fun to wear.. and stretchy. lol but seriously. The best best best best brand is a tie for me between asics, addidas, or under amour. They are all amazing! Enjoy your spandex!! Check tournaments for cute styles and textures!

  3. www.spikevolleyball.com

just a warning watch out for panty lines.

  4. I've been happy with several brands.  Your best bet is, as always, to look for quality.  Look for well sewed seams and material that is really stretchy so it can move best with you.  Just about anything from any of the big name sporting goods companies should be fine, but I've also had good luck with lesser known brands as well.  Comfort is also a must, so be sure to try on whatever you are thinking about buying.  If it doesn't feel right in the store it most certainly won't feel right on the court.

Since I'm not from Canada I can't really suggest stores, but any sporting goods store should have a decent selection this time of year.

As for the underwear/no underwear debate, most volleyball shorts are actually designed to be worn without underwear.  If you look inside you'll likely see a small white piece of fabic in the front, just like in a bathing suit.  This is a gusset and it's designed to draw away mositure and give your most sensitive area a bit of protection from the roughness of the spandex.  What you choose to do is your choice, but I'll give you my experience to help you decide.

When I was in high school I always wore panties under my spandex for practice and games because that's waht everyone did.  My panties were always moving around and bunching up and moving around and I found it very uncomfortable (even thongs would move)--I really didn't like the shorts.  One day after school I decided to go for a jog and since I didn't have any other shorts clean I decided to wear a pair of volleyball shorts.  For whatever reason, though, I didn't bother to put on any underwear--I had (well, still have) a habbit of walking around the house in the nude.  I'm glad I did because the shorts were so much more comfortable that way.  I started wearing them to lounge around the house all the time (at least when my parents were home and I couldn't be naked).

I still wore panties at school because I didn't want to seem weird to the rest of the team.  When I got to college, though, I found that most of the team didn't wear anything under their shorts and I stopped, too.  To this day I love wearing the shorts for lounging and working out, as long as I'm bare underneath.

  5. my personal favorote is under armor.. they come in short.. mid thigh.. or extra long.. black or white.. i prefer black because white probably shoes panties..

if you want like a special design on thenm i would recomend spotterz.com thats where i got my colorful spandex!

goooood luck and remember dont get the white.. haha

  6. you can get them in volleyball.com

As for the underwear comments, always wear underwear under the spandex.  and for the swimsuit comment, its the not beach!  your not there to impress people by having pantylines or not.  If you don't wear underwear, everyone can tell because your butt starts jiggling and its disgusting.  Even if its a thong, just wear underwear because it is just plain S****y!

Hope this helps and do wear underwear!

  7. mizunos are my favorite brand....you can get them at any sports store or online....and in response to the panty lines comment... nobody wears underwear with spandex.. they bunch and look ridiculous... its not uncomfortable to just wear the spandex and no underwear, its just like a swimsuit or something..hope I helped!!
