Spanish 1 help? ?

I've been in Spanish 1 for two days.

I really don't know anything.

We have homework now and I need help!

This is the directions:

No spanish word may begin with the letter S + a consonant. Therefore, many english words that begin with S + a consonant have a corresponding Spanish word that beginnings with es-:

Ex. el espacio - space

What English word corresponds to:

    A strict Spanish teacher might take points off for forgetting the accent marks (').... ( I don't think you'd know in Spanish I, but... just in case)

    here's how to get them if you are doing it in a computer

    á = Alt 160

    é = Alt 130

    í = Alt 161

    ó = Alt 162

    ú = Alt 163

    ñ = Alt 164

    ( obviously, the  hold "Alt" button while you type the number...)

  4. the second one the other two answers are correct is to write but i personally think that the spanish teacher or the book messed up because of the directions they probably mean script butttttt thats escrito like a movies script... so let your teacher know... escribir means to write... ;) the rest are correct according to the other answers
