How much alike are the sample test questions from CollegeBoard.com and the actual CLEP?

  1. They probably contain similar types of content, though of course the specific questions are different.  They may even be real questions that were used in previous versions of the test.  I don't know for sure though.

    I studied by trying some of the tests in the REA book, not the official CLEP study guide.  I assume you're using the thing you download and pay for at the website.  I did not use that.

    If you could pass the test if the questions were like those from Collegeboard, then you will probably be able to pass the real test.  Also make sure you're prepared for the listening part of the exam (about 30% I think).  If you haven't listened Spanish much recently, it might be worth getting some test preparation recording, such as the one that comes with the REA book.  It's also nice to be able to understand the format of the listening part of the test a little better.

    I took the test last week and passed.  I had previously taken three years of Spanish in high school.  But I finished the third year of Spanish several years ago.
