  4. If you are having trouble with the word "conjugate", you must be in first year.  They want the YO form of the verb "caminar".  What you need to do, is go to your verb charts.  Even if you haven't made one for yourself, there's one in the text book, and figure out how to make he verb form.  Of course this MUST be in the present tense.

    Caminar - ar + o = camino.

    Yo camino.

Now, one of the most important things you need to do during first year, is to learn HOW to apply that to all the verbs in the present tense.

Memorize the three charts, then use them to build all the verbs you will need to know.  If you have not yet done so, simply memorize the charts...

o, as, a, amos, áis, an.  o es, e, emos, éis, en.  o, es, e, imos, ís, en.

Just repeat those until you can do it in your sleep.

(promise it'll get you As on your verb tests and quizzes.)

  7. As I have recommended to others, use the dictionary of the Real Academia Española de la Lengua, which happens to be the governing body that rules what is correct and what is not where Spanish is concerned.

Enter the word caminar (infinitive or base form is used when looking up verbs) and the word will appear in a pop up window. Hit the blue button besides the word and the word will appear in another window with all the conjugations.

    Piece of cake.
