1) possible, but might be a translation of the conditional.  "He was going to get" would be better.

2) The Spanish is wrong.  Los artifactos seriaN raroS.

3) Could be right, but depends on the context.  From what you have, the pronoun could be "I," but it could be "we, you, or they".
