Spanish La Liga News: Jose Antonio Camacho shown the exit door by Osasuna
The La Liga side, Osasuna have sacked their coach Jose Antonio Camacho with immediate effect following their 1-0 defeat to 9th placed Real Sociedad.
Osasuna are currently lying at the 18th spot in the league table and are facing the danger of relegation. The Navarrans' season has been nothing short of a disaster as they have lost 6 of their last 11 games, although they did manage a shock victory over
Real Madrid.
The defeat to Sociedad means that Osauna have not been able to achieve an away victory in all the competitions in as much as 12 months.
Camacho, who is a former Real Madrid and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 coach, took over the coaching role at Osasuna from Jose Angel Ziganda. The Spanish head managed to achieve 15th spot with the club during his first season. He showed some improvement in his second
season and finished 12th.
This season, the La Liga side has been really struggling and they haven’t been able to find the right sort of a combination. The Sunday’s defeat to Sociedad led to a crisis meeting followed by the sacking of the Spaniard.

saw him scoring 9 goals for the club.
As a manager, he has the experience of managing sides like Espanyol, Benfica and Real Madrid. He also managed the Spanish National side for 4 years; 1998-2002.
Osasuna’s campaign was getting worse by the day and their away form was beginning to be a cause of concern for the club officials. The administration still persisted with him but the results were not coming and finally they decided to sack the 55-year-old
Spanish.
The club has revealed that they are going to announce the replacement of Camacho in a few hours from now.
Osasuna’s next game is against Espanyol on Sunday, the 20th of February and the new coach will lead the side in that game.
