Spanish La Liga Preview - Sunday (Part 2)
Jose Mourinho’s men have not faced a single “big gun” in the Spanish La Liga yet and they are currently resting at the top of the table. It is definitely going to be a big test for the new manager who helped Inter Milan win the UEFA Champions League
last season.
Real Madrid narrowly avoided a defeat against the Italian side AC Milan in the San Siro but no one can forget the fact that Real Madrid won the derby at least ten years ago when Jimmy Floyd was a part of their team.
The bottom club, Real Zaragoza is the only side in the Spanish La Liga, who haven’t won a single league game this season. They are definitely going to try their best to get a win to avoid their “bottom of the table” situation.
However, the side that are going to visit Zaragoza at their home ground, Mallorca have only suffered just four defeats in the last thirteen visits to Zaragoza, the capital of Aragon. Mallorca are also going to try their best to win the game under their
new manager Michael Laudrop as he is going to take his side to La Romareda to take all the three points in order to maintain the team’s position in the top six of the table.
Two more teams that are currently struggling in the Spanish La Liga are going to meet in Valencia as Levante are going to face Deportivo. Only one point separates two sides on the table as Levante stands at eight points and Deportivo on seven.
Almeria are the side who are going to look forward to win their first home game as they are going to face Sporting while the surprise package of the Spanish La Liga and the newly promoted side Hercules are going to travel to Pamplona to face Osasuna.
Almeria’s boss, Janma Lillo clearly sent out a message on Friday that he knows that the fans want their team to win at home and he is trying his best.
The last match that is going to take place in the Spanish La Liga is going to involve two big sides in the Spanish La Liga as Sevilla and Valencia are going to face each other in Sanchez Pizjuan. Even though the fans saw Valencia flying high without
their former striker David Villa, they drifted off from the pace after the loss away from home to the Catalan giants and the current Spanish champions Barcelona.
The game is going to be a thriller as Sevilla are definitely expected to do wonders. It is true that they lost the last league game 5-0 against Barcelona but during the midweek they simply destroyed FC Karpaty 4-0 as they walked out victorious in their
home ground.
