Spanish La Liga transfer news
Juan Arango approached by Seville
Bundesliga side Borussia Moenchengladbach playmaker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Juan-Arango-c19652 is reported to be a target for La Liga side Seville.
It has been reported that Seville have approached the German club for a possibility to bring in the 30-year-old playmaker.
Arango has already had a stint in Spanish football when he played for Mallorca between 2004 and 2009. Borussia have put up an asking price of 3 million Euros for the experienced playmaker, and it seems that Los Nervioneses are more than willing to match
the club’s asking price.
The Venezuelan international previously worked under Gregorio Manzano when the Seville coach was at Mallorca, and he knows all about Arango.
Arango last week himself confirmed that he had been approached by Seville, but added that his representative is currently negotiating with the Spanish club. He also confirmed that he had a brief chat with Manzano, but insisted that he is still a Borussia
player as long as negotiations are taking place.
Valencia chasing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Derek-Boateng-c10959
La Liga side Valencia have recently approached Getafe for Ghana international Derek Boateng.
Valencia Coach Unai Emery is reported to be a fan of the Ghanaian, and is keen to bring in the midfield enforcer to the Mestalla in order to improve his midfield. The 27-year-old is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863’s top transfer priority, and it has been reported that Los Che
will approach Getafe with an offer this January.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ghana-c2905 international joined Getafe last season after decent spells with Koeln and later Greek giants, Pananthinaikos. His contract will expire in the summer of 2013, so it is expected that a fee somewhere in region of 16-18 million Euros might tempt Getafe
to part company with the player. Boateng has become an important part of the Getafe team, which is eyeing a Champions League place this season.
Getafe coach Michel however, is reluctant to sell the striker, and it is believed that club President Angel Torres also shares his coach’s feelings and will do his best to ward off any prospective suitors.
