Well, Do you think this is racist and or offensive?

Personally I think they should have been disqualified because if this were a White/Black issue, everyone knows what would have happened to the "white" team if they did something like this don't we?

Equal punishment for Equal offenses!

  1. It is in poor poor taste. I do not know the story behind it. It is not a great decision to take this picture. What is the story behind it though. I am willing to wait till the whole story comes out before I say anything about racism. I am glad it was not a Black/White issue, for we have enough of that already. It matters to me. You wanted opinions and I gave you mine. Black/White issues should have been settled. Long history there. I doubt the Spanish have ever oppressed the Chinese. Others yes. I still say it was in really poor taste. This is just my opinion. I respect yours.

  2. I would consider it racist & offensive!!!

Asians are always known as "CHINO(S)" or "CHINA(S) to Spanish people

and I dont understand why we're being called THAT when some of us are not even CHINESE, wtf for ppl who call us that...

  3. My opinion is they are ignorant of racial tolerance.  Spanish people are considered white, so maybe if we put on glasses with big nose attached and pull our eyes big, then they get mad and say Asians can't play in Olympics.

I can't be mad, I just shake my head in disappointment and try to shield my daughter of such distaste.

  4. Those Spanish athletes were asked to do that at the photo session. It is in poor taste, but the photographer, not the athletes, is to blame. Look, I'm not defending them. I'm just saying that I don't think they thought, "Hey, I know, let's offend some people," or that they were intentionally offensive. The photo should be disposed of, but I honestly think that no offense was meant.

  5. I AGREE WITH DENISE!!! GO HER...
