Spanish first and last name?

Question

for spanish class we have to pick a spanish first and last name, but i cant seem to find a spanish name for kelly...so a name with a K would work? also i need a last name? can some one please help me with this !! thanks ♥

like they say there are no spanish names starting with k, but i know a lot of hispanic girls named Karen. for last name you can go with Hernandez, Perez, Rodriguez, Rivera, Gomez, Feliciano...

Sorry. Most Spanish names don't start with a K, but there might be names that start with C [but remember C followed by an E or I will turn the C into an S sound] or Qu.

While Kelly is not a traditional Spanish name, many Hispanics in the U.S. choose English or other foreign names and then hispanicize them. So your name could be "Queli", "Cali" o "Caili"

   Other than that, there are very few names that begin with K- unless they are foreign. That said, maybe you could find an equivalent for Kelly- Kelly means "war/strife" in Gaelic (its spelled "Caellach") and may also mean "bright-headed"

  So how about Guerra (more common as a last name; means "war" in Spanish), or maybe "lucia" or "luz" (for "bright", "light") Luz Guerra- that means light-war, much like Caellagh menas war-bright

The name Karina starts with a K, but I have another suggestion. Kelly is a shade of green. The name Verónica also means decorative plant... related to the color green in Spanish (verde). I think a last name like Garcia would go well with that, but most Spanish speakers use 2 last names. The first one is for the father, and the second one is for the mother.

Verónica Garcia Solís would be nice.
