  1. Spanish rice...

    1 Lb. hamburger

    Dice up an onion

small can of diced green chilies

    1/2 cup rice

    2 cups water

    1 can tomato sauce

Put some oil in a skillet, let it get warm, put in the  hamburger cook it and use a spatula to break it up into small pieces,  drain off the fat  add onions, chilies water, rice, and tomato sauce and let it cook until the rice is done. If the rice isn't cooked done add more water.  Salt and pepper to taste. This is easy and good.

  2. Make churros; someone else has put the recipe in Yahoo Answers. It is a dessert.

  3. enchiladas. tacos. caldo de rez.(beef soup) arros con pollo.(rice and chicken) or maybe chalupas.(dish of nachos with meats and cheese). hope you pass, happy cinco de mayo.

  4. Empanadas. They are delicious!

  5. Make Murmuellos, we use them in our Spanish tradition , for Christmas events or new years  . Very easy to make and very good .  Called in English >>Cinnamon Tortilla Crisps

    2 tablespoons granulated sugar

    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    8, 8 inch flour tortillas

    6 tablespoons butter, melted

In a small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon, set aside.

Brush tortillas with melted butter. Cut each into 8 wedges.

Arrange in single layer on baking sheet. Lightly sprinkle cinnamon mixture over.

Bake in preheated 400F oven for 4 to 6 minutes. You can choose to bake or  fry if fry  do this >>>>>dip the tortillas in oil ,But remember the tortilla has to be raw if you decide to .

Can be made ahead and keep in air tight container.

I prefer to dip them in oil such as lard , veggie oil or corn , doesn't make a difference. But its easier and tastier and quick.

Well, hope I helped . Hope you get a A+.Good luck.
