Spanish help, how can the letter ñ???

Question

I want to know if there is a way I can put the letter ñ while typing in windows vista without having to paste it all the time. I set the language to Spanish but the keyboard does not have the letter. I know that on any other computer you can put a code and the letter shows up but it can't be done in laptops for some reason.

Neither of the two other suggestion given work on my laptop. And LAPTOPS HAVE NO NUMERIC KEYPAD.

You may enter any character by typing the corresponding ASCII code.

In order to do this, you'll have to press the left ALT key while you type 164 for ñ or 165 for Ñ. But you must use the Numeric Pad; in a desktop PC keyboard you'll find them on the extreme right, but in order to use it on a laptop you'll have to Press NumLock and you should have keys on the right side of the keyboard which are marked with the normal numbers 0-9, like mine uses jkl for 123 etc. But this varies from make and model;

Come on! It's easy. If you have an English keyboard, in Vista set it to English-International. After that all you have to do is press and hold the Alt Gr key and the N key and release both of them. The Alt Gr key is the Alt key located on the right of the Space bar.

In Word you add a tilde to a letter by typing control-~ followed by the letter.

Hiya i use a laptop too and had the same problem but what to do is  go into control panel and change your keyboard to US International then when typing hold Alt Gr  then press the letter you want to put the accent mark over ñóíéá for capital letters just do what you normally do while holding Alt Gr ÑÓÉÁÍ ¡¿

go to "insert"==> "symbols" (far to the right of your tool bar) ==> "more symbols". There you must find it, usually the first symbol there!
