my dad is from puerto rico i think he is puerto rican but hes mom is spanish indian what is that is he still puerto rican or mexican aztak

The Mestizo people were the "Spanish Indians" Usually their fathers were Spanish from Spain and their mothers were native American Indians, from South Central or North America or the Caribbean Islands. Puerto Rico was inhabited by Indian people,so your dad and his mother would be from the mixture of those peoples. The Aztecs were from southern Mexico, not the islands. Your dad would not be descended from them if on your grandmas side if she was native to Puerto Rico. You did not tell us where grandpa was from tho so that is unknown. The native people of Puerto Rico were the Caribbees, they were spread all thru the islands.
