Spanish regents compostions how much are they worth each?

is it true if i fail the regents i have to take the whole year over?

spanish regents aren't offered in august. only june and january btw=]

they are the smallest part of the regents, at 8 points each and there are two of them. You can retake the regents in august and then u dont have to take the year over if you pass. But generally if you fail the regents the teacher will fail you, and if you failed the regents you probably werent doing so good all year which gives him/her even more of a reason to fail you.
