  1. If they are already turning brown it is too late to wash or dilute the fertilizer from the leaf surface. Don't worry though, the bush will not die. Only the leaves will dry and eventually drop to the ground. Once this happens, it will push out new growth from the leaf nodes and in time, will be bushy again. Continue to water and care for it as if it was all leafed out and flowering. Hope this answers your question...

  2. I am a gardener and I recommend washing it thoroughly. You should also water the ground around the stems as well. Do this for a few days and see it makes a difference. In the future make sure you fertilize around the base of the plant making sure to avoid any stems or plant parts, then water it in well.

  3. I don't know that it will help- But try spraying a gentle mist on your rose bush. Hopefully the fertilizer will get washed off and diluted enough that your rose will recover.
