I run NGK in small engines....Bosch in my cars.  Had decent luck with AC DELCO in an old marine 4 cyl gas that didn't need high tech plugs.

Years ago an old mechanic told me never to use Champion...not even in my lawnmower. Rightfully so...I was having trouble starting the above mentioned marine inboard with 4 new Champions...checked the ignition...fuel system...spent a few hundred dollars. Turned out 2 plugs were dead fresh out of the box....4 new AC's and she fired right up...boy, was I pissed.
