  1. best thing is to buy the single wire the long wire will only cause trouble if it lays on the exhaust or something else that would put a hole in it

  2. Yes, you can use the longer one - no problem. Just make sure it is properly routed so that it doesn't lay against anything. You can also make it shorter but it can be kind of a pain in the butt to do so. No, they do not sell single wires but I sure wish they did sometimes. It would make my job a lot easier.

  3. i should not matter just have to tye it some way so it is not in the way

    of anything

  4. They certainly do sell single wires. They come with a boot that you can put on yourself after you cut the wire to length.

  5. it should work until you can get another wire or you could measure it with your old wire and cut it off the same length and put the end on it, i did that before.

  6. You can use the longer wire without any problems.

You could also shorten the wire by cutting it to the length of the wire thats damadged. You would need to reinstall the clip from the wire you cut onto the shortened wire.

Many parts stores sell single wires.  Just take your wire into the store and have them match it.
