The president has confirmed that the Moscow-based club are interested in more signings and commented on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roman-Pavlyuchenko-c31639’s Russian Premier League return.
Spartak Moscow president, Leonid Fedun, has admitted that the Red-whites are planning to sign two more players during the winter transfer window after the landmark signing of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Diniyar-Bilyaletdinov-c11318 from Everton.
While the president has not disclosed any names, reports in Russia suggest that Fedun is keeping tabs on Ajax defender, Van der Wiel, and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 midfielder, Ever Banega.
It's the Myaso struggles in the midfield during the ongoing Russian Premier League campaign that has has prompted Fedun to look for midfield cover. Midfielders http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Demy-de-Zeeuw-c10825 have been unreliable at times.
“We want to strengthen two positions. I hope the talks will lead to success. I want to sign players that could make a strong composition which we had back in 2005.
“I do not see, for the first time in my career, any player in the squad who is not capable to play for Spartak.” Leonid Fedun was quoted as saying.
It has been long time since Spartak have added silverware to their trophy cabinet, and Fedun has urged the Myaso to alter the situation, tipping them to end their 10-year wait.
Speaking on the transfer of Roman Pavlyuchenko, the Russian national revealed that they were not interested in signing the 30-year-old as they already have decent strikers at the helm.
Pavlyuchenko joined Spartak’s arch rival, Lokomotiv Moscow, during the transfer window.
“We have three high-class strikers: Dzyuba, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Welliton-c36773 and Emenike, that’s why we have not signed Pavlyuchenko. Roman has done a lot for Spartak during his time but we do not want to keep him on the bench. It makes no sense.” The
56-year-old concluded.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Artem-Dzyuba-c6682, Welliton and Emmanuel Emenike all are enjoying decent form, having contributed 22 goals for the Russian outfit.
