http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mohamed-Sissoko-c26386 has been unsettled at Paris Saint-Germain since the start of the 2012/13 campaign. The player has only featured in three Ligue 1 matches, and it looks like that the defensive midfielder has no place in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mali-c2951 international has been linked with a move away from the Paris-based club at various occasions in the past few months. The player’s absence from the starting line-up is just another sign of his potential departure from Parc des Princes.
Moreover, the club’s coach Carlo Ancelotti has hinted out on the possible exit of a few players, as he intends to trim down his squad during the upcoming transfer window. The club currently has a squad of 29 players, and the Italian tactician wants to reduce
it to the ideal size of 25.
Meanwhile, AC Milan have been reported to be interested in Sissoko. The Serie A outfit wants to sign the player in a bid to temporarily replace the injured http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nigel-de-Jong-c27882. The Italian giants are on good terms with the Paris Saint-Germain, and a deal might
take place in January.
Despite the speculations linking the 27-year-old with a move to San Siro, several other clubs have also shown interest in the player, with Russian Premier League outfit, Spartak Moscow keen on securing the services of the midfielder.
Sissoko’s agent, Jose Segou admitted that the player has been in contact with the Russian outfit for a while now. The agent said:
“We have had contact with Spartak Moscow, who have long been watching my client.”
It would be no surprise that the former Liverpool player seeks an exit from his current club. The defensive midfielder wants to spend more time on the pitch rather than the bench. Sissoko hasn’t had much first team opportunities this season, and that is
disappointing for the midfielder. Segou explained:
“Sissoko wants to spend more time on the pitch.”
The agent pointed out on a possible January transfer for the Mali international as he said:
“In winter he may switch teams.”
