Spartak Moscow’s Dmitri Kayumov expresses joy after a goal scoring debut against FC Tom Tomsk
In the aftermath of Spartak Moscow’s 4-0 thumping over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Tom-Tomsk-c39228, the Myaso midfielder, Dmitri Kayumov, has revealed satisfaction on his debut. He expressed his delight on winning the latest Russian Premier League encounter against the Asians at Luzhniki
Stadium.
Speaking on his awesome debut to the season, Kayumov revealed that he is absolutely delighted to have claimed a goal in the Russian top division. The Russian national highlighted that he was expecting a first team call-up following his notable performances
in the reserve team.
“I knew I will be given a chance to the first team. I was warming up and Valery Karpin decided to put me on to the field. He asked me if I had power, I said yes and came off the bench.” Kayumov was quoted as saying.
He added: “I was calm and confident. When I was introduced, we just needed to control the game. I was prepared and ready to enter the field.”
Kayumov went on to reveal his satisfaction on the team result and assured the fans of a decent spot at the end of the ongoing season. The promising midfielder is of the opinion that the Moscow-based club need to stretch the winning momentum.
The Red-white midfielder admitted that he is wary of the stiff competition among places in the team and insisted that it would not be an easy task for him to cement his position in the starting eleven.
Kayumov revealed that the head coach congratulated him on his successful debut, highlighting his respect for the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 tactician.
“I do not know, the coach will decide on the starting line-ups. I'll try to show what I can do for the team. It all depends upon the coach.” Kayumov concluded.
Earlier this month, reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 had suggested that Kayumov had damaged his ankle. The 19-year-old denied such reports and revealed that he was under minor treatment but he is ready and raring to go again.
Spartak take on Lokomotiv Moscow in the upcoming crunch home encounter, and the Russian national hoped to claim more points for a better finish on the league table.
