Artem Dzyuba acknowledged Spartak Moscow’s disappointment after they suffered a 2-1 Russian Premier League defeat against CSKA Moscow at Luzhniki stadium. However, he insisted that the Myaso will fight for the league title this
season despite the latest defeat.
Valery Karpin’s men could consider themselves unfortunate not to score the winner after they equalized against CSKA during the second period. Dzyuba, who put a commanding display at the heart of Spartak’s offence, scored the equalizer.
With the latest defeat, the Red-whites have now fallen down to the fifth spot on the league table; however, they are still at catching distance from the league leaders, Zenit St. Petersburg.
Dzyuba lamented the latest defeat, admitting that the result would have been different had they taken all their chances. He admitted that Spartak need to work very hard if they are to win the league title this season.
