Wojciech Kowalewski has insisted that Valery Karpin is not a solution to the problems and has urged Spartak to avenge their UEFA Champions League defeat against Celtic FC
Spartak Moscow appointed Valery Karpin as their interim manager after the club parted company with Unai Emery. The Moscow-based club sacked Emery six months after inviting the Spanish tactician to the Russian Premier League.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-CF-c40864 coach left with a heavy heart and tears in his eyes having failed to help the Red-Whites neither in the domestic league nor in the UEFA Champions League this term.
Though Spartak still have a group stage game remaining in the European tournament, it does not matter whether they win or lose as they know that they are out of the competition after suffering four defeats already.
Former Shakhtar Donetsk player, Wojciech Kowalewski, has lamented the situation and urged the Moscow-based to try and appoint, Pep Guardiola, as a long term replacement for Emery.
Guardiola, who lead http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 FC respectively.
And whether the 41-year-old wants to try his fate in the hostile Russian weather to follow in the footsteps of Guus Hiddink and Luciano Spalletti after accepting a lucrative offer from Spartak’s billionaire owner is another question.
“With such results and the game they showed in the league and the European Cup, Emery’s dismissal looks natural and I think the decision to change the coach was not taken on the emotions after a poor match.”
“I think Guardiola can help the red and white.” The former Legia Warsaw player was quoted as saying.
The Spartachi suffered a panicking 2-3 defeat against Celtic FC at Luzhniki stadium after losing to Barcelona with a 3-2 score line on the away turf.
“Spartak should win to please their fans and avenge their home defeat.” He concluded.
Kowalewski, who played four seasons at Moscow before joining http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Korona-Kielce-c39732, urged the Myaso to avenge their earlier defeat in the tournament after defeating the Scottish Premier League giants at Celtic Park on Thursday.
