Spartan Spirit to be the heavy favourite in the 32Redbet.Com Handicap at Kempton on 29th March

Kempton is to become home for the Class 6 32Redbet.Com Handicap over a mile and three furlongs on Thursday, 29th March. There are eight runners up for taking the challenge for the £1, 617 purse that is set for the winner.
Spartan Spirit, Invincible Spirit’s four-year-old bay gelding out of mare Kylemore, had his seasonal debut at Kempton that he bagged.
On 21st March, Spartan Spirit was the 10/11 favourite winner in the Betdaq Mobile Apps Handicap at Kempton over a mile and three furlongs. He was riding with Jimmy Fortune and the two led by two and a half length.
The runner up of the race was Laser Blazer and tracking right at his heels was Lytham.
This was the first career victory for Spartan Spirit and he would want to strike another through the second outing of the season.
Another entry on the lineup who has recently won at Kempton is Striding Edge, Rock Of Gibraltar’s six-year-old bay gelding out of mare For Criquette. Through the six starts that he has made during the new season, Striding Edge made the most out of the fifth
chance by winning the race.
He won the Skysports.Com Handicap at Kempton over a mile and three furlongs on 22nd February.
Trecase was the runner up of the race while settling third in line after the winner was Land Hawk. The 7/4 favourite of the race, Fire In Babylon, came fourth on the lineup of thirteen.
The second try at Kempton and the sixth race of the season was in the Event Magazine Handicap at Kempton over a mile and four furlongs on 29th February. Striding Edge was once again sent as the favourite but this time ended up sixth on the lineup
of ten.
The race was won by Sumani and the runner up for the event was Shirataki. Striding on for the third position was Laser Blazer.
Both are fairly accomplished but Spartan Edge is expected to be the heavy favourite because of the race that he recently credited against his name as a win. Not the entire lineup has raced at Kempton before so that does keep the surprise element intact.
