Is this Tolkien elvish?  I would have to say that he was the father of what most people would consider to be the elvish language.  If so, I know that Mithrandir means "grey wanderer" at least!

Other sources also take a stab at it.  For example there is a D&D book called "Races of the Wild" that contains rules for constructing many elvish words.
