  1. just think EVERYONE  is nervous when they do this

picture them all in their underwear

think to urself whats the worst that can happen...never as bad as u think

know ur speech well and believe me its over before u know it

    best of luck with it

also deep breathing just b4 u talk will help

  2. Practice ahead of time

Use PowerPoint with animation as this keeps the audience attention on the screen and not so much on you

Think positive thoughts. I'm sure you'll do fine

    Good luck to you!

  3. I was alway told to pretend everyone in the audience is naked.  You can do it, practice in the mirror.  Good Luck

  4. Just try not to care about what other people might think about you.. It sounds tough but if you figure out how to do it. You will be a Pro speeker in no time.

  5. its completely normal. i do the exact same thing. just try and drink some water and try to relax and remember the people watching arent going to judge you.

  6. you should get used to it after awhile.

you just need to do it a few times..even though it seems painful. lol.

my first oral presentation last semester in english..oh man..i was so scared, and i talked really fast.

but the next one, i was fine.

  7. It would be helpful if you could practice reading stuff to friends, slowly building confidence and going from there.

I had a really confident friend and I just wanted to be as cool as him so I imitated him, he is impressed by my confidence now.

  8. 1) Practice the speech in front of family & friends, several times

    2) Pretend the people have only their underwear on

    3) If you have one friend in the group, keep your eye contact only on that one person

    4) Tell yourself that the people like you & are interested in what you have to say

    5) Tell yourself that everyone gets nervous & it'll help you be a better speaker!
