I have a set of onyko speakers on my hometheater setup. recently the front speakers started making a bubbling noise kinda like a coffee maker, the connections seem to be fine so I don't know whats causing it. it's kind of annoying when I'm watching tv. it seems to only do it when I'm watching tv.

  1. hi   are u hooked up to any kind of cable box or sat receiver  sounds like a bad ground

  2. You may have a ground loop somewhere.  Make sure your TV and stereo are all plugged into the same power strip, preferably a high quality one.  You may also have noise coming from bad pot  (potentiometer) k***s.  You can hear a crackling or bubbling noise that goes away or increases when you wiggle the problematic k**b.

  3. Try different speakers in the front. If it doesn't go away look toward your amp as being the problem.
