Speakers for my computer?

Question

How can I tell if the static sound coming from my computer speaker is due to a malfunction in the speaker or from the computer....I'm pretty sure it's the speaker - but not 100% sure. The static sound only comes from one speaker....the same one every time and all the time. I've been wanting new speakers anyway...ne good websites with inexpensive good speakers????

Take them and plug them into another computer, if not yours then your friends. That would tell you what's what.

Get some speakers that are medium grade, inexpensive ones will give you problems.
