I Have A White 1997' Ford Contour & I Dont Have Any Factory Speakers In It. About 3 Years Ago I Bought Some Kenwood Door Speakers For Each Door From ''Audio Express''. I Dont Know The Model Number But Their 220 Peak & I Have 4 Of Them. Their Really Loud But I Need To Know If I Can Use This Amp To Power Them Up To Make Them Louder Becuase My 3 12'' Subs Are Gonna Drown Them Out And Because I Dont Want This Amp To Go To Waste.

Amp Specs!

Also Do You Guys Know Where I Can Find A Cheap Iraggi Alternator For A 1997 Ford Contour. I Looked On Ebay & They Only Have Them For Other Makes Of Cars & For Other Kinds Of Models From Fords Like SUV's Trucks & Minivans But Not Cars.

Also How Will I Hook This Amp Up To The Door Speakers?

  1. With that amplifier you wouldn't have any problems in hooking up your four 220 wats speakers to it.

As far as the connecting is concerned, please refer to the web page associated to the link I am providing you with at following:

Please let me know if I can be of further help.

  2. Peak power means nothing, you want to be looking at RMS power. Assuming your door speakers are 4 ohms, you could bridge them into 2 2ohm loads. Looks like you will get about 40-80 watts RMS to each speaker.

It is a pain in *** depending on what kind of car you have. You will have to run RCA wire from your head unit to your amp. Then wire the speakers to the amp.

  3. first I would go to crutchfield.com they have a really good instructional series that tells you everything you need to do. What are you installing the subs for competition or for yourself? What are the subs rated at....make sure you look at the R.M.S. not peak. What is the THD of the amp, it will tell you how much interference the amp will allow to pass. If you are worried about highs why not install dome tweeters? or 6X9's that have tweets installed to give you highs.
