Spear fishing, Wollongong Legal or not?

Now bewfore i ask the question if oyu are from America do not answer, if oyu do not know , there is no need to tell me that, Is spearfisihng legal at wollongong beach , NSW , Australia , if so what part of the beach is it legeal in answer ASAP.

I don't really Know mabye you could ring the diving place and find out good luck! any way Wollongong is a great place to fish!

i gotta feeling it might be because whenever i go with my mates they always tell me to hide things like kina from people incase you get caught.... but people still do it there all the time and i never heard of anyone thats gotten in any trouble from it so far... it's a good spot for it though

Spear fishing is not legal at Wollongong Beach. I know many people go down the lake for late night spear fishing but I don't know if that legal or not. Fishing off the bridge is not.
