Special Effects Contacts?

I'm going to be getting contacts soon, so I decided to research them alittle. During this researching, I found somewhere that there are prescription contacts that made your eye color stand out more and make the color clearer. I was wondering if this actually wokred, and what these kinds of contacts are called. And are there any other kind of contacts that I could wear on a daily basis (prescription, none of those theatrical contacts) that might look good?

The two most well-known brands are Acuvue 2 Colours and FreshLook Color Blends/ Radiance.  Both brands currently have free trial offer coupons on their sites (listed below).
