Special Forces Question?

Hey there,

Um I'm not a military servicemember nor do I have any knowledge about the military but just about an hour ago, me and my friends had a huge argument in the college library regarding who would win in a fight...2 police officers (armed with their gear) vrs. a special forces member if their 7 feet in range (any...seal, ranger, green beret, delta force w.o any gear) and I have told them many times that the special forces member would win but they disagreed. Can anybody please give me your own opinion on who would win with an explanation? thank you to all of those who are currently serving or have served!

  1. I'd agree with Voice--2 armed cops vs. an unarmed SF guy--really no contest...BUTif they were all UNARMED--hands down SF.

  2. More than likely, the SF guy with no gear would lose to two armed police officers. Special Forces soldiers are human. Just because they are in SF, doesn't necessarily mean that they are any faster, smarter, or stronger than anyone else, rather, they are very proficient at whatever their Military Occupational Specialty might be. A bullet from a police officer's gun will cause just as much damage to an SF guy as to any other person.

  3. in my own personal opinion they wouldn't be in a fight to begin with becuz they are considered the same side. however if u must it would depend on what kinda weapondry and what the circumstances surrounding the situation were. I am sure that our delta, etc... could wallop an officer who has way less training if the situation were correct. only time i think they would have an issue is if a weapon were directly aimed point blank at one of their heads, but they would more than likely still win with a quick fix of the situation. ;) this is all just conjecture.

  4. depends on the person

I've known police officers that can take down anyone

and Ive known special forces soldiers who cant tie their d**n shoes without hurting themselves

  5. There is no way to answer this question. It could go either way; who cares?

  6. Haha, that is a funny argument.  That is something nobody can answer!  h**l, I served in Force Recon in the Marines.  If you see me, you'll think that I'm a skinny geek!  It isn't about the size, it is about the mental capacity that the soldier can endure.  I for one think that those 2 cops will probably beat the living c**p outta me, but I'll get a very d**n good punch in there somewhere, no matter if I'm a brown belt!  Now, lets put the competition in another format, per se....

Who would past the finish line..those 2 cops or the Green Beret?

There is an obstacle course of a 8000-meter swim with 5-knot "set" (which is a ocean current) with full load gear, but they have to man a MC-5 parachute, by inserting HALO into the surf, once they hid that beach, there is unrelenting, hazardous mountain range with a 30-percent or more grade.  After 20 miles of that, they are to "slide-for-life" (which is a rope strung across a ravine) of 300 feet, then they are to rucksack hump the remaining 40-mile stretch across thick, silted, sandy terrain to the finish line.  Who would finish?

    The Green Beret!

  7. a bullet from a 7 year old is just as deadly as a bullet from a 47 year old.
