Special Release to launch on the opponents in the Bags Track Championship Puppies
Entries from Crayford and Hove join the locals of Sittingbourne in the Bags Track Championship Puppies on Thursday, 1st November, 2012. The pups will contest over 480 metres flat for claiming their share in the £200 prize money. Special Release
and Afternoon Nap are the locals, while Headford Sandy and Looking For Eric are covering ground for Crayford. Representing Hove are, Rourkeys Options and Droopys Brody.
With a recent second score at the open level, and the least time of 29.22 seconds in a Grade A1 race, Special Release, makes a special favourite spot in the line-up for tonight, and is backed by 6 to 4 odds.
Hondo Black’s blue b***h joined the racing career in August this season, and cemented her path to success pretty soon. Two Grade A1 races and an equal number at Grade A2 attempts had her contesting at the open level.
The year-old landed a Grade A2 metres flat race on 6th September, 2012 at Sittingbourne. She took off from the second box, and despite getting bumped when aiming for the front, she composed her poise from the third position, and led on, concluding
the race in 29.48 seconds.
The J. Coleman trained found her way from the first trap to the wire in 29.22 seconds in a Grade A1 480 metres flat race at Sittingbourne. Her determination to win races reflects from her courage to start fresh even after getting bumped.
The favourite entry led by 2 ¼ lengths and set Crossyourfingers as the runner-up.
The year-old out of, Special Liberty, had her first chance at the open level in the form of the John Palmer Stakes on 27th September, 2012 at Hove. She lost the race, but just by the slightest of the marks, short head’s. The level of competition
did not provide her with the provision to pull herself back.
The race was followed by a success in a Grade A1 race, and then another second position in an open race.
The year-old has drawn the first box, and has already won twice when racing out of the same number. Breaking from an end will help her avoid crowding and bumping.
