Special ed miscatagorization?

I know there are a number of people telling others who misplace their questions in the special ed section (things about IT, college, etc.) that they are in the wrong category.

I have befun doing it to--and explaining how to pick teh right category to get a good response.

I have recently gotten 2 violation notices for not being an answer......when it is an answer directing a person how to get the info they want..

And we all know the violation system is a joke.....it is clear that a human being does not review the appeals....

QUESTION:

Has any one else gotten a violation notice when they informed an asker when special education was and taht their question would be better answered elsewhere?

I am putting this question in the special ed section so that the others dealling with this problem see it and this problem is SPECIFICALLY with the Special Ed category................

  1. I usually do the same thing except I don't phrase it like your answers.

I usually say your question is in the wrong category you may get a better answer in this (insert category.) Or words to that effect.

I haven't had any violation notices yet. Then again I usually read the other ones which people have said for this and mine seem to be the polite ones. - most people just put the first part of your answer without giving any suggestions on where the question would be better placed.

  2. Many of these people are idiots or foreign, maybe special ed means something different in their countries. It is incredibly annoying to me when only 1 in 5 questions in this category is actually about special ed students. There are just too many questions in the wrong category anymore to tell these people to put there question somewhere else. Why you are getting violations when they are in the wrong, I do not know. My advice is to give it up, like I did. Until Yahoo figures out how to fix this, it is a lost fight for us.
