Special things for Granparents @ a Wedding?

I want to do something special at my wedding for all the grandparents on both sides. Any ideas?

  1. If at all possible you could display their wedding picture on the cake table , also you could include the parents picture of the bride and groom if you like.


  2. You could present your grandmothers with a rose, or a small bouquet of flowers.  I always thought that was a sweet thing to do.  The men can get boutineers.

  3. You should play the song that they danced to at their own wedding.

  4. I think that if possible, you should try and get the entire new family, both sides included.  At least with mine, they have always expressed a lot of interest in having everyone together in the pictures.

  5. If you're having a wedding program, make sure they're listed in it.  Of course, they should get corsages and boutineers.  

    Have someone (your dad?) introduce them at the beginning of the reception so they can stand up and get applause.

  6. I would suggest something small and personal. A photo frame with a photo of you and your partner would be nice or a hand made card and gift voucher. Good luck for your wedding day!
