  1. my team does crossfit its on crossfit.com i think if not google it. Im a prop at the same age level as you

  2. I'm a prop too, i play both sides but i prefer tighthead.  I'm a lot heavier than you because i'm samoan, but i find the best thing is to work hard on your legs.  Explosive squats, power sprints, wind sprint.  Your legs are where everything comes from in the scrum and in the lineout, and you'll break more tackles with strong legs than with strong arms.

  3. Work those legs for explosive power...I was a loosehead at 6'0" 225lbs but, had excellent leg strength.  Crossfit is also an excellent workout for endurance and strength as indicated by previous poster.  Go to the All Blacks or USA rugby team sites both have excellent off/in season workouts.

  4. i stumbled over this site and it seems really cool and specific to positions and amount of experience...  good luck

theres also some good info on the usarugby.org site under "fit to play" on the menu on the left side.
