Specific breed banning in Texas?

I have heard that is it illegal in Texas to ban a specific breed or multi-breeds of dogs. Is that true and if so does it still apply to the military posts as well?

There is a law in Texas that restricts passing laws that are against specific breeds of dogs, at least for now until the ARs get the legislature to change that.

Military bases are federal property so they have their own laws and they can actually have laws against anything they want.
