Specific different forms of governments?

In my World History class, our teacher has assigned us a small project. This project involves us having to research different forms of governments. Half of the class is researching governments that give equal power to the people and/or have no laws at all. The other half of the class (which includes ME), has to research governments that are strict and/or have so many laws, that an individual, for example, could not eat something of their choice without the government's permission.

My objective is to find at least seven different forms of governments that are closely related to that (as in, structure, ordinance, a lot of laws, no freedom, etc).

Help me out; any questions - email me (kisstina.chick04@yahoo.com)

  1. Well start looking at governments who rule in conjunction with the rules of their religion,  start looking at a lot of Muslim countries.
