What configuration cordless phone will work in india?

1. 5.8Ghz or 2.4Ghz ?

2. 900Mhz or 500Mhz or 400Mhz ?

i m planning to buy a cordless phone from US, but want to know what specifications pone works fine in india!

please help.

  1. All cordless phones will work in India with a little troulble if these phones are not intended for India.

    1. Power adaptor. USA is 110V so you should change it to 240V. Another thing is power variation in India is wide so a special adaptor should be used or you may experience unexpected noise and data losses. You can buy it in India anyway.

    2. If you will subscribe to Caller ID service, India caller ID standard is not the same as USA so may not receive correct caller ID information.


  2. 900 Mhz is likely to be your best decision, but further query into your current equipment is nessicary
