Specilized Rockhopper vs. Norco Bigfoot?

Question

What are the similarities and differences between the rockhopper and bigfoot frames?? and would i be able to turn a rockhopper, into a more all mountain kinda bike but still mainly a cross country bike with some bigger tires, and a bigger fork?

i dont no much about the norco but i know that the rockhopper could become a more trail accesable bike with maybe a new set of forks tires nd a better gear system    about 200 bucks   maybe less
