Speech Recognition Pleeeeeease Help?

Question

I have tried everything.

I open the word processor and it just wont type anything I say.

It will let me change the font etc but nothing else.

I have tried saying things like "go to start of sentence" everything like that but it wont actually type any dialogue.

I have set everything up correctly and done the practise dialogue nd all that.

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP ME I AM TEARING MY HAIR OUT

You are telling it to turn the mic on before you start, aren't you.

I have the same problem before, I am Using Vista ultimate 64 bit version.. after checking my mic setting it works well.. try to check your mic setting.

I think your computer might be not fully loaded with files missing.

1 Run CHKDSK, it restores missing files.

or

2  enter "sfc /scannow" into the run commands, have your OS CD ready on the standbye to be scanned. That'll replace any missing or corrupt system files, keep clicking 'Retry' if your prompt untill the scan is complete..it works a treat.

Please be very patient, takes a while and pleas dont attempt to abort the process thinking your computer has froze because i asure you it hasnt.
