I am giving a speech for a public speaking class that I am taking and I am doing it on Costa Rican culture based on my own experience as an exchange student there. I am mainly focusing on the food, education, and entertainment. My professor is really big on us having some big attention grabbing introduction. I am trying to think of something I can do/say that will definitely grab my audience's attention and will pertain to my speech so that I can segue right into the topics of my speech. Any suggestions?
