Obama failed miserable at the first softball debate. McCain never stumpled.....Obama is a better speaker but when asked anything away of the teleprompter , he seems to stumble.

  1. I thought the real "Decider" was Bush.  ;)

  2. In a debate with Obama, McCain will lose it and fly off the handle and say something that he will surely regret later...

  3. Watch the debate, if Obama musters the guts to show up, and count the times he says, "you are distracting from the issues", everytime McCain says something Obama either can't or won't answer, he did it in every debate he had in the primaries. I really doubt Obama will show up for any debate.

  4. If that was true why did Bush get two terms?

  5. Not really, the way debates are designed makes them difficult to be used for anything other than 30 second soundbytes and bumber sticker slogans.

True investigative journalism in an interview is your best bet for finding out about policy.

With debates you get all of 30-45 seconds to try and explain your stance on extremely complex issues.  If you think that is where you can make "real decisions" on who to pick, then that is your perrogative.  I just wouldn't agree with that being the best method.

  6. We'll see.  But yes, I do agree, the debates will give us a better indicator of who will be able to lead us out of the h**l George Bush created for America.
