Speed Stream 4100 B?

I have a huge problem with this. I have to mess around with the Ethernet Cable to make the Internet work on my computer.this modem doesn't even let me get on my PS3. The Activity light is never flashing on the PS3. HELP!

I think you'll find it's easier to pick up a cheap router that has a more friendly interface to do this with. Let it do the heavy lifting. A straight modem connection is fine for a computer but you're PS3 will benefit from the router.

That is only an educated guess.
