  1. Not completely safe - but the odds are looking better after 3 weeks!!

  2. Yes and even if you do get the ticket / summons after the 2 week limit they cant do anything.

  3. generally you are ok after 2 weeks. They have to notify you ("Notice of intended prosecution"or request for driver details) or send a summons within 2 weeks. However all they have to do is send the document 1st class, posting it in time for it to reach you before the deadline. Postal delays, not being at your registered address &c. won't get you off the hook

  4. WRONG the police dpt who operate the speed camera have 3 months to recover the films then they send you a ticket , and you ve got 28 days to pay

    claude

  5. no just could be lost in the post for 2 weeks then they find it and you get it the 4th week

if you were only doing like 4 mph above the speed you might not get a ticket usually they do the top 10 or 20 cos it costs so much

  6. The general rule in most states is that it could take up to 30 days to receive it in the mail but you should know something between 2 to 3 weeks.

  7. Not in the slightest. Might have just taken longer for your ticket to process.

But, you asked if you're safe....and since you were speeding, then no...you're not safe, you're a hazard.

Good luck with the ticket. :)

  8. No, my dad only ever got flashed once, it appeared in the mail about 1 month later, could have been slow mail tho.

  9. The police MUST send the ticket to the registered keeper of the vehicle within 14 days... Fact.....

  10. I douth it I got one in the post 2 mths later!!

  11. Normally about 2 weeks and if it flashed once it means your ok it has to flash twice to catch you.

  12. My wife was driving my car in a 40mph area and she was flashed at 58mph.   Because the vehicle was registered in my name they sent the ticket to me (within two weeks).

Now my job requires me to have a clean license, so obviously I had to inform the speeding bods that my wife was driving the car at the time.

Eighteen months later, havn't heard a thing from them.
