  1. Like everyone already said, it's "meters per second" (m/s NOT mps).

Unlike the voodoo/US system, which can't even decide which is the basic units (i.e. Is it the foot or the inch? Is it the second or the minute?), modern metric/SI uses specified units for lenght (m) and time (s), respectively.  Anything else, like kilometers per hour (km/h NOT kph), are special derived units allowed for convenience.

Now...Why are you asking other people to do your homework? This basic c**p is all discussed in school.  Go crack open your textbooks or something.

  2. A.  The SI derived unit for speed is the meter/second.  This can be converted to miles per hour.  1 meter/second is equal to 2.23693629205 miles/hour.

  3. The meter is a unit of distance and the second is a unit of time; thus, answer (A) is true. The mile is a unit of distance and the hour is a unit of time; answer (B) is also true. Thus, the answer is (D).

The kilogram is a unit of mass, so although the hour is a unit of time, answer (C) is false.

  4. ONLY A.

Even if B is distance per unit of time it is NOT SI

    Hope That Helps

  5. its d dude
