  1. same as normal, the atmosphere has gas's doesn't it?

A cool fact is that light slows down in certain substances but when it leaves them it speeds up again, weird hey

  2. The speed of sound will vary according to the density of the gas that it's traveling through, and the atmospheric pressure.

  3. c = (kRT)^1/2

c - is speed of sound

k - is gas constant (1.4 for air, 1.667 for noble gases)

R is the universal gas constant

    T is the temperature

so for air at 300 Kelvin c is approximately 330 m/s

  4. its 330m/s
