  1. overhyped and overrated.

but anything that causes overbet favorites that are vulnerable is a good thing.

  2. go with speed rating....not beyer speed figures...

andy beyer has ruin the sport.....

  3. It's a good idea, but you always have to actually look at the other factors before you use them for a decision. I usually bias them +/- 5 anyway depending on how I think the race was run from my personal opinion.

If I had to go with performance (from my eyes) versus Beyer, I'd have to go with my eyes, though they aren't all too far off from each other (usually). Remember that Beyer figures are subjective.

The other figures always s***w up REALLY badly, I would not even bother to look at them.

  4. andy beyers is one of horseracings great minds, buy the daily racing form and always use his beyers speed figures, they are a staple to anyone who knows anything about racing.

  5. beyers is best

  6. I give absolutely no credence to Andy Beyers speed figures. It's just opinion, that's all. I consider myself a very good handicapper, so I don't rely on one man's "figures". Like a few people have said, buy the racing form & use your OWN way to handicap.
