Anyone know any good running techniques to gain maximal speed and maximal speed endurance?(i.e jog curves, sprint straights, repeated 200m) I am now going to the track once a week to train for speed and doing hill speed intervals on my treadmill

Distances training for are 200, 400 and 800

In my opinion, running on the track will benefit you significantly and you should try to go there more than once a week if at all possible.

For any runner, the three things you should work on are race pace running, interval training, and endurance. Race pace running would be running simply as if you were in a race, for one of your distances you are trainin for. For interval training you should do a light warm up and then a half an hour atleast of intervals, then a cool down. for endurance you should run for longer than the distances you are training for.

It would be easier to suggest things to you if i knew what distances you run in practice and how long your practice each day.

Feel free to ask me any questions that you think of...
