in reality i am researching to invent a new generation of speed bumps which must be proper for using in my country,IRAN,and finally my research result shown the best speed bumps is something which works with air,it is an airbag and works by compressing air and the air goes along a pipe as a link and join back to the air bag in another part!

at first ,what is your idea about it?will it work well as a teory?

and the second i am looking for a proper thing to use as air bag,in my opionion a rubber would be suitable which has a metal net in it,

WHAT IS YOUR IDEA?

someone answer me:

it sounds much more complicated than a row os asphalt, which is all an ordinary speed bump is.

Where are you going to get the compressed air? Who is going to maintain it? What happens if the air supply is broken?

  1. This would never work because of the cost and the maintenance, just stick with the everyday asphalt type or the larger solid rubber ones, much cheaper.

  2. There is a better idea already available. These are made of rubber, can easily be installed and then removed or relocated if neccessary, and come in many sizes.

  3. DUDE THATS NOT GONNA WORK CAUSE IT WOULD FLEX AND THE PURPOSE OF THE BUMP IS TO BE HARD AND SLOW PEOPLE DOWN. NOT CAUSE EM TO LOOSE CONTROL HAVE YOU EVER, STEPED ON A BALOON AND HAVE THE OTHER SIDE BLOW UP. THEN WHEN YOU GO TO THE OTHER SIDE IT PUSH'S THE FOOT OFF, NOW THINK ABOUT IT HAPPENING TO A CAR? FUNNY I THINK NOT. WELL MABEY A LITTLE

  4. Are you for real? In the United States, we have city, county and state funding (taxes) that takes care of things like road maintenance. Maybe you should start something like that in Iran.
