Received a speeding ticket in pa. Police officer stated I was doing 41 in a 35. speed checked by ESP(checked on ticket). Never signed a ticked (never was offered to me). Officer told me i would receive citations in mail. Approx 3 weeks later got citation stating i was doing 48 in a 35...hummmm....Questions. Do i ask for a 3111? Do i go to court, having my 13 year old daughter who also heard the cop say "41" testify? Mistake made to make of car (Stated TOY, I was driving a Honda), Does not ESP require 2 cars? If so, only citing officer was present...Many questions, need many answers..

Regards

  1. Were you speeding?  Probably.  Did you deserve a ticket?  Probably.

    Do you frequently speed?  Probably.

Yes - by all means - take a day off from work and go to court!

Yes, pull your daughter out of school for a day to go to court with you to see how to "stick it to the man".  She will remember how daddy made her testify to save a couple of bucks on his insurance when he probably speeds all the time!  Priceless!

Yes, you should spend $100's on an attorney and fight this all the way to the state supreme court because everyone knows that police officers lie all the time and you are a perfect driver.
